Emergency Assistance
As council funds permit, heat and utilities aid is available and can be provided on a one time basis to any Schuylkill Haven Area resident family or individual faced with a crisis or tragedy who are unable to make payment. Contact information to secure an application may be accessed from any affiliated church pastor or at Schuylkill Haven Borough Hall. Likewise, pass through travelers incurring an emergency may inquire from the Schuylkill Haven or Pennsylvania State Police about overnight lodging and food.
